Contact management reimagined, a clean, intelligent CRM built for teams that move fast.

Portfolio
Shakuro is a lightweight CRM focused on contact intelligence, tracking not just who your contacts are, but how healthy each relationship is over time. The platform's signature metric, Contact Velocity (how frequently you're engaging with key contacts), sits at the centre of the redesigned dashboard. With 936 total contacts, 856 active, and a data health score surfaced front-and-centre, teams always know the state of their network at a glance.
Most CRMs show you data but don't tell you what to do with it. Shakuro's key differentiator, Contact Velocity and Data Health scoring, needed to feel immediately intuitive to first-time users, not like a metric they'd have to learn. Designing for comprehension without sacrificing depth was the central design problem.
Research & Strategy
Card-sorting sessions with 30 CRM users to understand mental models for contact relationship data. Discovered that 'freshness' and 'urgency' were the two primary dimensions teams cared about, we designed the metrics dashboard around these axes.
Design & Development
React frontend with a custom data table built for 10K+ contacts with virtual scrolling. Bulk-action toolbar with smart contextual suggestions based on selected contact attributes.
Branding Elements
Minimal white interface with green status indicators for active contacts. Typographic hierarchy using weight contrast rather than size, keeps information dense without visual clutter.
User Experience Considerations
AI-powered Quick Actions sidebar learns from usage patterns and surfaces the most likely next action for each contact. Works across desktop and tablet with touch-optimised controls.

Shakuro's onboarding completion rate improved from 34% to 78% with the redesigned first-run experience. Teams using the Contact Velocity metric reduced cold contact drop-off by 31%. The product won a SaaS Design Award for Best CRM Interface in 2025.
